There are over 1,000 identified Environmental Justice areas throughout Pennsylvania. Clean Water Action is working to ensure that all Pennsylvanians, especially those that have typically been disenfranchised and/or disproportionally burden with adverse environmental impacts are meaningfully involved in decisions that shape a healthy environment in which to live, learn and work.

Plastic pollution affects everyone by reducing our quality of life, blighting our neighborhoods, and contributing to water pollution and the degradation of our planet. Clean Water Action is working to reduce single use plastic bags as a first step toward addressing broader plastic litter and illegal dumping issues.

Clean Water Action endorses and works to elect candidates at all levels of government that share our priorities to better protect our environment and safeguard our public health.
