This Water a Flower Day has me reflecting on how lucky I am that my husband has an incredibly green thumb. I can grow food and, in fairness, those plants flower, too. However, the beautiful explosion of colors in our yard all year long must be completely credited to my better half.

The “correct” use of melamine foodware requires that the dish not be heated above 160 degrees. When food is served on melamine plates there is relatively low cross contamination from the plate to the food. However, once you put that plate in the microwave, you’re immediately pushing past that safety zone.

I don't do it for them but it's good that it spreads. We here at Clean Water Action are sharing some great information with folks and giving a whole lot of people opportunity to do good things and create change. Also, I love hearing about the victories, and getting to share them with other people. And to know that before this work was being done lakes and rivers were on fire, literally, makes it even more worthwhile."
