Environmental Health Program Director

Laura has over 30 years of experience working as an urban planner, with a focus on housing, poverty, and sustainability. A longtime supporter of Clean Water Action, she joined the staff in 2018. As Environmental Health Program Director, she coordinates legislative and administrative campaigns to get toxic chemicals out of consumer products and the environment.

Laura believes that everyone deserves sustainable, affordable housing—and a clean and healthy environment.

She has a Master in Architecture and Master in City Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree from Yale University. She lives in Jamaica Plain, with her husband and two adult daughters.
